Disney Travel Agent

You might remember the one-episode special on Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings from earlier this year on Freeform. Due to the overwhelming success of that show with nearly 3 million viewers, a seven-episode series has been ordered to debut in the Spring.

The new series will be produced by Simon Lythgoe, Ann Lewis Roberts, and Jenny Daly in partnership with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. Each episode is said to offer a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most spectacular weddings and engagements at Disney destinations around the world. Each episode will follow a couple’s journey from the planning stages all the way to their “happily ever after.”

“We are creating one of the most beautiful shows in the world with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Disney Parks and Resorts, where they make couples’ dreams come true,” Roberts said. “Making a couple’s fantasy into a reality by transforming their wedding into an event more magical and spectacular than they could have ever imagined.”

Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons has offered premiere wedding experiences for 25 years.

“Continuing on the success of Freeform’s Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings summer special, we are continuing to invest in our relationship with the Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings team to bring magic and spirit to viewers everywhere,” said Kary McHoul, Freeform Senior VP Programming and Development. “We can’t wait to make wedding dreams come true with the most epic wedding planning team in the world.”

“The Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings team is honored to provide another behind-the-scenes glimpse into our Disney wedding planning services, share our unique fairy tale wedding locations, and connect viewers with our couples’ personal love stories,” said Korri McFann, marketing director at Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons.

An exact premiere date has not yet been set, but we’ll share it with you when we hear.
