Celebrate Father’s Day at Downtown Disney

The Downtown Disney merchants at the Disneyland Resort have some suggestions and specials to help Dad celebrate Father’s Day.

Since the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost is closed, maybe Dad would like to pick up a fedora at Chapel Hats and get 20% off June 16th-18th.

If Dad and kid want to play together, maybe they should stop at RideMakerz on June 17th and 18th, where they can build a second ride for free!

There are lots of options if Dad is hungry, including the regular Sunday Brunch Fest at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen.

All weekend, Tortilla Jo’s is serving up El Papi’s Fajitas, featuring grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, carnitas, nopales, cebollitas and bell peppers, plus queso ranchero and house-made molcajete salsa.

The UVA Bar is celebrating all month long with the Big Daddy Burger, which includes their signature beef blend, applewood bacon, fried egg, avocado, white cheddar, tomato, lettuce, and secret sauce on a brioche bun.

On Sunday, the ESPN Zone will have two different specials for Dad.  The first is a Korean-style burger made with grass-fed beef, sambal aioli, pulled born, BBQ sauce, kimchi, and tempura-fried avocados, or if Dad is missing his barbecue, maybe he should try the Father’s Day Grill Out, with smoked brisket, smoked pork ribs, grilled beer-braised bratwurst sausage and street-style corn.

Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria will be serving up The Godfather Pizza all weekend.  The pie is topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, meatballs, green peppers, mushrooms, red onion, mozzarella and tomato sauce.

For a nice Sunday dinner, Dad might want to head over to Catal for a three-course prime rib dinner.

If snacking is more his style, Dad can head over to Wetzel’s Pretzels on June 17 or 18th and get a free pretzel dog with the purchase of a pretzel and a drink, or Sprinkles all weekend when they’re featuring a Dad box loaded with his favorite cupcakes.

Whether he’s shopping, eating, or just listening to music, there’s plenty for Dad this weekend at Downtown Disney.
