SeaWorld Orlando’s water park, Aquatica, will introduce a new family raft slide next year. This exciting new attraction will combine three unique slide elements that will allow families to “slide, splash and soar”.
First, passengers will slide at 33 feet per second from 60 feet up in the air. They will then be shot into a sphere where the raft spins around the walls and into a tube. Finally, the riders will be launched into an open half-pipe shaped like a manta ray and dropped through a tube into a splash.
The height requirement will be 42 inches and the rafts will hold 4 riders to accommodate families. The intended location for this attraction is near Walkabout Waters.
HooRoo Run will be permanently closed on October 31st to make room for Ray Rush. Also, Walhalla Wave will be temporarily closed from October 31st until Spring 2018.
